After LMS

LMS was quite good seminar in my opinion. Nothing special, but something that should have happened. We gathered 27 high motivated young people around the common goal, around the values of AIESEC.It was a motivation seminar; it was a real team building experience; it was important for all the delegates (I hope so). I really like the desire, the passion, the belief that I saw in your eyes... Now I feel excellent, because I know for sure that LC Sofia will be lead by amazing individuals, ready to form strong team that will rock the house!!! I saw the great passion in all newies, I saw the excitement, the willingness...

Now I am waiting for the full-right candidates presentations and for the tremendous EB Elections next weekend!!!

2006 in numbers

3 International Conferences (two of them were AIESEC)

7 world cities starting with letter B - Berlin, Budapest, Brussels, Bremen, Bratislava, Basel, Bucharest

9 different airports

11 flights (10 successful and one cancelled)

11 countries visited -Poland, Germany, Swiss, Austria, Slovakia, Romania, Greece, Holland, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Hungary

36 days abroad (compare to 2005 - 151 days; 2004 - 154 days; 2003 - 17 days; 2002 - 20 days; 2001 - 10 days). That's mean that I have been 1/1o of year 2006 abroad :)

B.D.S. letter

Yesterday when I was tidying my room (wow, I really do something like that for my room, but very rare unfortunately) I found out a special envelope with the B.D.S. inicials... I thought: "What's inside? Why the hell my inicials stand on this envelope?" And after awhile I remembered the whole story...

Amazing phone call

It's about 2:22 during the night... and I'm still alive, still awaken!!! I spend amazing 2 hours with a person who I know slightly well. I have never thought about such possibility... but the true is that now I am more than sure that I have found amazing individual, a real friend that I can rely on... Now I am too excited to write, but I want to share that this 2 hours were totally different from everything that's around me...

"Yes, we can, but after we grow up"

There is nothing more precious that the real friends....

Bee Gees

Bee Gees - I admire them!!!
This is the best group I have ever listened. The one and only!!! I really love them!!! Unique sound, unique voices, unique performance!!! Barry Gibb is the man - he is marvellous. I adore to listen the band, I adore the sound of his voice... I have more than 100 of their songs, I have almost all of them, but I miss one thing - live concert.... and unfortunately I will never get it... the last one was in 1997 in Las Vegas... 10 years ago... may be I still live in the past...

The Black Turtle

I have one passion besides travelling around the world and it's collecting turtles. I have more than 90 different turtles - from almost all possible materials, from all over the word. A huge part of them I have received as a gift. A special gift from persons that are really close friends of mine. Today I take the Black Turtle - a small massive figure from stone, hand made it, with nice whites nicks, representing the turtle's face and hollow. And now I feel really happy, because of the memories!!! And I go further...

Bulgarian Literature

I start re-reading Elin Pelin, one of the greatest Bulgarian writers.
Each day I will read one of his stories, each day I will re-discover it.
Why I choose Elin Pelin and do I need to re-read it?!
Yes, I definitely do!!! I choose Elin Pelin, not because it's my favourite author (btw can someone of you guess the Bulgarian author that I admire?! There will be also small surprise for the one that guess it. Please post here your suppositions), but because of two really important persons for men (my grandfather and one of my best friends).
Today I start with the following story "Кумови гости" (I am not gonna try to translated into English). It's a short story about two persons, that really loves each other. A story that lasts just one night, one unforgettable night... A story about desire, about belief, about love...

I've spent more than 3 hours reading some unique blogs, some amazing stories... about the life in Nigeria, about You Can! 2006 Conference, about Switzerland, about the LC Elections in Moscow, about the weather in Poland, about the personal life of some of my closest friends....

I've spent wonderful morning with you guys and now I am full of energy!!!

Candidates for AIESEC International 2007-2008!!!

I have just waked up and checked my e-mail. There was an e-mail from AIESEC International about the candidates for the next term, about 44 brave individuals, about 44 unique leaders, that made the most important and most difficult decision of their life's. I was thinking how great it would be if I found someone that I knew, but I was shocked!!!
Now I am really proud to be Bulgarian, I am really proud to know her, I am really proud to be part of AIESEC, at the moment I am the proudest person in the world and just because I saw her application, I read her name, because I know her!!! Irina Ruseva is applying for AIESEC International Vice President External Relations 2007/2008!!!
Thank you Ira for make me feel unbelievable this morning!!!

We have a MATCH!!!

Congratulations to our lovely OCP of Meeting Diversity Project Rosen Georgiev!!! Congratulations to all amazing individuals that are working in Rosen's team!!!
We have match the first internship and great person form Canada will come in Bulgaria to take part in our educational project!!!

Finally the session is over!!!
Now I have a time for myself, for my desires, for my future!!!
Next month will be full of AIESEC activities and we will rock the house!!! After a month of exams I need a change a little bit, I need to feel the magic...
After I have been elected for MCVP AIESEC in Bulgaria (just a week ago) I really believe in the future and now I know for sure that I will live my dreams... Guys we will be amazing team, we will be unbelievable, we will rock the house!!!
Back to my LC reality. What's gonna happen?
1/ Local Motivation Seminar - 3rd-4th Feb - expect unique team building activities, time management session, deep discussions about the future structure of the LC, about the future leaders, about the full right membership criteria and of course a lot of fun!!!
2/ Pocket Recruitment Campaign - 5th-25th Feb
5th-9th Feb - promotion (promo mails, flyer's, posters, etc)
12th-16th Feb - info desk (from 8:30 till 12:00)
- Q&A sessions (from 18:00 till 19:00)
19th-23rd Feb - Interview Skills training & Assessment Center Simulation
24th-25th Feb - AC&Interviews :)
and we will have 10 new great individuals :)
3/ General Assembly of LC Sofia - around 10th Feb - then will be vote the full right membership of the newies
4/ EB Elections - 17th-18th Feb - during the weekend will the elected the future Executive Board of the organization
5/ Meeting Diversity Opening Conference - 24th-25th Feb - more details you can find out soon ;)

- Защо не започнеш да пишеш blog?
Напоследък често ми задават този въпрос и май е крайно време да се замисля защо не го правя... може би нямам време, или пък желание... може би не искам да го правя... може би не съм бил провокиран досега... може би съм правил други неща... може би не съм чувствал нужда да го правя...
Но сега нещата се променят... сега е момента, в който мисля, че е най-подходящо да започна нещо, което от доста време обмислям... сега е момента на новото начало... сега имам и времето, и желание, и освен това намерих провокацията да го направя...
